Fig: Essentially Jam on a Tree

Of all the fruits in all the world that ought to be made into jam, fig has to be high up on the list. When picked ripe off the tree they already have a nearly a jam consistency, plus they've got a super sweet honey flavor. It is a wonderful jam. I know people are all over the board when it comes to if they like fig newtons or not, but I bet you you'll love fig jam.
