Pineberry Jam: The Reverse Strawberry

What is a pineberry? Pineberries are similar to pineapples in the fact that neither of them have anything to do with pine trees. As far as the look goes they are basically a reverse strawberry. The flesh is white and the seeds are a pinkish red color. The flavor is like a mix between strawberries and those strawberry hard candies that your grandma used to have. They're the ones that have the little bit of a gooey center and have sat on your grandma's shelf, nobody knows where they came from, but they've always been there. Anyways, pineberry jam is a delicious jam that is good on everything!
